Link the Hero (Stable Version)
An older version of the ‘Link the Hero’ mod that actually works. Mod originally by TheDanaAddams, and was originally ported to DST by MFWIC34. If the original author wants me to take this down, I’ll do it in a heartbeat.
I re-uploaded this mod because while there is a ‘Link the Hero’ mod still on the workshop, it crashes upon picking the character. However, I did still have the original file that, while it’s pretty unstable, actually works.
Now, onto the character himself.
I’m not gonna lie, he’s pretty overpowered. But after surviving so many quests in the faraway land of Hyrule, I think it’s pretty fitting.
His stats are as follows:
200 Health
150 Hunger
180 Sanity
It’s worth noting that thanks to his high metabolism, his hunger drains quicker than your average character, and since he’s been through so much on his quests in Hyrule, it takes a lot to faze him. And by that I mean the only thing that seems to affect his sanity is when another player dies.
He also spawns with some equipment to make things considerably easier to not die.
There’s the Master Sword, Link’s main weapon of choice.
There’s Link’s Boomerang, a boomerang that you automatically catch and will never break.
There’s the Goron Tunic, a red outfit that protects you from summer heat. Alternatively, there’s the Zora Tunic which acts as a rain coat, keeping you from getting wet.
And finally, there’s the Bunny Hood, which allows you to go extremely fast.
