Description:

This mod tries to simulate an adaptive cruise control (also known as adaptive tempomat) – it automatically adjusts speed in order to follow a constant distance from a vehicle in front of yours.

The mod attempts to simulate real ACC as closely as possible (within Arma limitations).
It detects vehicles in a 35deg cone and within 150m from the vehicle.

The CC can be overriden with W (or any other throttle key) and pressing brake (S) disengages the CC.

Only the driver needs to have the mod installed.

CBA Configuration

– Default distance to keep (preset to 50m)
– Disengaging with brake can be turned off (so that you don’t have to re-enable the ACC each time you slow down before a turn)

Keybinds

– ACC Toggle – Ctrl + DELETE
– Increase Speed – Ctrl + ARROW UP
– Decrease Speed – Ctrl + ARROW DOWN
– Increase Distance – Ctrl + ARROW RIGHT
– Decrease Distance – Ctrl + ARROW LEFT
All keybinds can be customized via CBA

Known Issues

– There is a possibility of ACC detecting oncoming vehicles and slamming brakes, so be ready to override the ACC with W (or any other throttle key) when you see oncoming traffic.
– The ACC does not currently come to a full stop when a vehicle in front does and keeps going approx. 0.5km/h forward.
