Description:
The O-10 ‘Warden’ is twin-jet-engined 1930s-era designated territory patrol aircraft. The Warden is advanced for the 1930s and is unique in the fact that it is powered by two jets placed at the rear of the aircraft. Advanced features include remote turrets, an internal bomb bay, 6 forward-facing machine guns, a twin tail, retractable landing gear, and, of course, two jet engines. The cockpits offer the two pilots excellent visibility, and the two remote turrets offer a defense when patrolling near the edges of friendly territory. The six guns and six bombs enable the crew to make swift work of any hostile advances that may be spotted during patrol. In practice, the O-10 would fly low and slow in order to scour the terrain below.

The aircraft has a tendency to pitch up until it reaches its ideal cruise speed of 185mph. Be sure that your angle of attack doesn’t get too high as you accelerate, as it’s rather easy to stall. Takeoff speed is around 65mph.

Built for RLM #34: Advanced 30s Biplanes, where it scored 2nd place.

I hope you enjoy!
