A REALISM enhance mod… NOT a Survival one
So… You don’t like ACE Advanced Fatigue because you think it "punishes" more than it "gives"?
Or what about Field Rations… Do you think they do nothing but weigh down your inventory and make fatigue penalties even harder, if neglected?
Even if you do use all of those, do you still think they could add more to gameplay, but in a realistic way?
Well… Your troubles are over!
The mod that will revolutionize ACE’s food and fatigue system has arrived, giving a true "reason for being" to everything!
Now you can receive benefits for your fatigue from using field rations in a realistic and balanced way, as well as having a "counterweight" effect for their use by having your solids and liquids metabolized in an immersive and FUN "digestive system", not to mention the additions and small tweaks in ACE Ration items.
How to get the best of it?
- – Plan your food consumption: If you eat/drink some (customizable) minutes before an intense fight, you’ll have to interrupt the "momentum" to relieve yourself (or face the shameful consequences of ignoring "nature’s call").
- – Plan the usage of Fatigue Benefits: As they have gradual effect peaks, diverse and customizable conditions, duration & cooldown, you don’t want to miss the timing of having your boosts at the right moment. Be smart.

ACE’s RATIONS SMALL TWEAKS
- 🎵 All consumable items now have animation and sound effects (Originally missing from food in the ACE system);
- 💧 Canteens now have increased capacity to 4 "sips" (No more carrying 2 canteens into battle!);
- Their weights have also been slightly adjusted for balancing with bottles: Plastic bottles weigh less than metal canteens…right?
- 🍲 Humanitarian Rations now differ from MREs: they are a double-sized meal (as even more so in real life).
That means you’ll have two portions in one single item, and an individual portion is slightly lighter then a single MRE…- To keep things balanced, the HR portion will satisfy hunger a bit less then MRE
- Added 3 new food itens: 🥡 Daily Meal and 🥫Canned Food — which are non-military variants for HR and MRE — and an extra snack,🍫 Energy Cereal Bars!;
- Proper 3d models, icons and sound effects for each
ACE’s FATIGUE BENEFITS
- ⚡ About those Energy Bars… They also gradually increase your short-term Stamina recovery (anReserve), when properly consumed;
- After eaten, the ‘Energizing Fatigue Regeneration Coef’, in the mod CBA settings, will begin to rise, from 0% to it’s chosen value, randomly in about 10 minutes, and will be acting as long as the ‘Energizing Effect Duration’ is set to.
There is a ‘Energizing Effect Cooldown’ to be set as well, to allow another round of the benefit.
- 🍌 ba-na-nas… Now they have a real supplementing purpose: Gradually increase muscle recovery until you feel as fresh as new! (ae1reserve, ae2Reserve, muscleFatigue);
- This effect is given upon 15 minutes more or less, after consuming, gradually reaching 100% of long-term Stamina reserves, as also muscle fatigue.
If "Realism Mode" is ENABLED in the mod menu, achieving 100% recovery of these factors will depend on the amount of effort exerted during the process.
- 🥤 "Soda" cans (Franta, RedGull, and Spirit) now instantly fill the Stamina bar!
Nothing beats a Refreshing cold soda…- They also have an ‘Refreshing Effect Cooldown’ available for tweaking in the addon menu.
METABOLISM
- 🚽 And the star-feature of the mod… DIGESTION!
– Liquids and solids, when used to quench thirst or hunger, are processed and digested, eventually being "expelled" as nature dictates!
– Different animations and sound effects (random and variable) for each situation (voluntary / involuntary "evacuation").
– Different digestion times for each (liquids ≅ 15 to 20min | solids ≅ 30 to 40min) — The more you consume, the faster the digest (for each type) will go, but it stops adding when belly is 20% filled
- Action selectable via "Scroll Wheell" or "ACE Self-Interaction". Change in CBA options.
– Didn’t pay attention to those stomach cramps or the urge to pee while in the middle of a firefight?
No problem, your body takes care of it for you… But remember to change your pants afterwards! — Easter egg for the Poopy-pants — Different maximum times for "involuntary" evacuation (≅ 30 to 60min).- You can adjust your digestion time as you need in CBA options
Times shown above are related to default coefficient of [2]
You may involuntary poop/pee yourself while injuried and unconscious, if digestion has been made
Remember that "ACE Field Rations" must be ENABLED for the mod to work!!!
● Compatible with both DCO_ToolBox and [ACE]MOAR, as it uses changed classnames from those originals (OF COURSE, the similar features — ‘defecation’ & ‘fatigue’ — have to be disabled on those, orelse you’ll get doubled actions)
● Compatible with Stamina Modifier – ACE
● As long as loaded after anything that changes ACE’s fatigue system (‘fnc_mainloop.sqf’ file, to be exact), or Field rations classnames, this mod IS compatible (and will overwrite the others)
● Must be loaded on both server and client to properly run all features (Defecation and Fatigue Benefits won’t load otherwise);
● Server admins: REMEMBER to "force" addon’s settings so players don’t metagame from Fatigue Benefits;
