ALLOCATE MEMORY ERROR BYPASSED
See january 12, 2022 update notes below:
-Redesigned the mission to not crash due to memory allocation
-Because of this, sadly decreased attack waves from 5 to 4 and thinned out German defences.
-Attacking Americans now have accurate TOE: every wave an entire company of the 116th Regiment, 29th Infantry Division will be attacking the beach, along with a squad of the 121st Engineer Combat Batallion (29th ID)
– About 2/3ds of a Ranger company, 2nd Ranger Batallion will also land each wave
-German defenders now also have more accurate TOE, and part of an Osttrüppen platoon has been added
*RobZ Realism Mod and Skins for RobZ required, Guns for RobZ and Metatrons Mappack recommended (adds extra weapons and equipment to soldiers)*

Hello again guys! Some of you might remember my succesful editor mission of Omaha Beach that was posted in late 2016. Since then, Robz Realism Mod has been greatly updated and many complementary mods have been released. Thus I decided to update the mission and re-upload it to the workshop. Updates include: new and edited scripts, new skins for soldiers and weapons and added units. Hope you enjoy!
The included video is of the first version, played by Diplexheated.

”Bloody Omaha”
Hello everyone, first of all I’d like to say I’m not a mapper or modder, but I love making my own scenarios in the editor. That’s exactly what I did here, I’ve been scripting this D-Day scenario for my own enjoyment, but it got so big (and in my opinion epic) that I wanted to share it with the community. Right now this is just scripts with no objectives or victory conditions, and it’s intended for the editor.
This requires Robz Mod to play. Huge thanks to him, as he didn’t only make this mod, but also included this particular map in there and allowed me to use it. The map was made by Warfare11, I just made these scripts.
WARNING: This is a very intensive scenario with a lot of scripts and stuff going on. Low-end computers will surely have low framerates. However it is still playable and fun with low fps. Trust me, I scripted it all on a laptop.

The Scenario:
It’s 6 june 1944, 6:30 AM, the landing boats have just taken off and are headed to the Normandy shore. As they make their approach, some airborne troops who have captured a manor in the countryside prepare a defense against german troops that want to drive them out. They’ll hold, so you can focus your attention on the landing troops. Along the beach US troops of the 29th Infantry Division will land and try to break through the Atlantikwall. Their only support will be the few DD tanks that made it to shore and the USAF. On the far right flank, at the coastal town, the 2nd Ranger Batallion will try to capture the hill and from there flank the rest of the German defenders. My advice is to focus on them if you choose to play yourself.
When you’ve finally broken through, the allies will be able to land more reinforcements and support you with more tanks, mobile artillery and mortars. Your goal is to move further inland and establish a strong foothold in France. Eradicate all german resistance in the area.

Since this is not a real mission, you can fill it in whichever way you like, but I find it easiest and most fun to follow the steps I named above. Take control of the Rangers on the right flank and take control of the hill, from there on flank the German defenses. Have fun!
You can alter this map in any way you like, but should you share this with the community as well, please credit me, Warfare11 and Robz, and any other modmakers whose content you used.
