Caravan Master Generation Nerf
Simple Mod that both randomizes and lowers the stats of the characters generated via the "Search for Caravan Masters" decision.
Right now the game quickly gets flooded with generated Caravan Master characters with super high base stats. The decision in vanilla creates one "Good" character with base 10 on every stat bar Intrigue and one "Great" character with base 15 (!!!) stats instead. These guys end up getting bumped to the top of "grant title" lists and get chosen as realm priests, etc…
I’m open to feedback for further adjustment of the values if they are too high or too low, but for this first version:
- "Good" option will have between 3-8 base Diplomacy and Learning, 5-10 base Martial, and 7-11 base Stewardship.
- "Great" option will have between 7-11 base Diplomacy and Learning,10-15 base Martial, and 12-16 base Stewardship.
Compatible with existing saves to some extent, it seems like it works for new saves but not always for older ones.
Update: Thanks to code from Getta the Fighter, excess characters will now be removed from the game world so they don’t impact performance
