BRDM-2
The BRDM-2 (Boyevaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina, literally "Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle") is an amphibious armoured scout car used by states that were part of the Soviet Union and its allies. It was also known under the designations BTR-40PB, BTR-40P-2 and GAZ 41-08.
This vehicle, like many other Soviet designs, has been exported extensively and is in use in at least 38 countries. The BRDM-2 has seen limited use by the US Military in OPFOR (Opposing Force) training exercises from captured examples.
The mod features two skins: USMC Desert and Soviet Green.
Pros:
- Armored + well protected
- Very manueverable + four seats
- Can take a considerable beating
Cons:
- There is only one in the game world
- Can be difficult to fully repair
The BRDM-2 will spawn at the abandoned factory north of the abandoned town.
