Build Wonders on Mountains
Updated for Gathering Storm!
Allows you to build certain Wonders on top of mountain tiles. Now, you can avoid using up a potentially valuable plot of land! It does not force you to place these wonders on Mountains – you can still use their regular terrain requirements.
The Wonders are:
- Oracle (all mountain types)
- Petra (desert mountain only)
- Potala Palace (all mountain types; no longer requires an adjacent mountain)
- Cristo Redentor (all mountain types)
Unfortunately, Jebel Barkal does not look right on top of mountain terrain, so I did not include it for this mod, despite the appropriateness.

Placing a Wonder on top of a mountain does NOT remove the tile’s coding as a mountain, so you are still able to get district adjacency benefits from mountains.
