The Eagle’s Gift – Romans for Kislev

Something either really, really horrible, or absolutely awesome, has happened. Through some sort of twisted magic, of which even Tzeentch can’t begin to fathom how it works, a portal between several dimensional layers and timezones has opened up. Through it, marches the soldiers from the Empire of the Eagle. Having conquered all of lesser lands in their own dimension, or universe (whatever it is), they now set their sights to aid in the defence of civilization and order. Under orders from the All-Mighty Supreme Augustine And Divine Caesar, they offer their services as a heavily armed deliverence for the Tzardom of Kislev. Together they shall crush all the Barbarians of Chaos under their heels!

NOTES: This new army for Kislev is intended as a heavily armoured defensive force, designed to stand and fight almost no matter the cost. They have also been designed to be able to go tow-to-tow with most Daemon units. For example, the standard Legionaries will beat Khorne Chaos Warriors, but will not survive against Exalted Bloodletters. The Cataphracts can match up with Skullcrushers, but only barely. They do this by all having traits like Guardian and Heroic Resilience, making them even more effective at defence as they take casualties. The Praetorians serve as inspirations with Stand or Diem, making them incredibly resistant, but they are also capped at 2 to avoid complete OPness.These units are recruitable only from the Imperial Embassy in Kislev (fitting right?). They are affected by Armoured Kossar & Kossar/Gryphon Legion/Winged Lancer technologies.
