Description:

The Age: 4th Century B.C.

Rome is an insignificant town yet, surrounded by powerfull italian countries: lucanians, etruscans, volscians, sabinians, greek colonies… and the samnites.

In the first Rome Total War, I always remember when you select the "italian" units with roman faction, included the "samnite" units, with his feathered helmet in the icon…that unit liked me, but then the problem was the "cloned" appearance of every unit that you played with. Now, with "the Rome II" game, the experience with this kind of units is different, so I try to get that this faction seems totally real… most variety of new coloured tunics, shields, armour or helmets, that they will get sound real effects in battles, even in certain moments you will have the sensation that in close combat you lose the control if you don´t bear in mind details like this kind of unit have blue feathers in his helmet, for example, a way like in the ancient age the commanders controlled their troops in combat… so i think that this mod and this faction looks very well the combat reality.

This mod adds 16 new units to the samnite faction, and it is not playable with the main campaign or original DLC, s, because this faction is not included between the playable ones. to play with this, it is necesary the DLC "Anibal at the Gates", and any mod to let you playing with the samnite faction.

Anyways, the players ask me making playables like roman auxialiary troops my "Ancient Lucanian Units" in the main campaign, so I made in this time, too.

And now…are you dispossed to conquest the Italian territory with the samnites and change the History?
