Description:

June 1st, 2025 update: the most recent Cities of Wonders update has removed the burges’ defenses in favor of having a modifier applied to counties; this means that this mod is no longer needed, unless you play with some old legacy version. I’ll keep this file hosted on the Workshop, but there’s very little, if any, use for it any more.

I personally enjoy Cities of Wonders 3, but feel that burges have far too much defensive ability, on top of other buildings that can be added, making them essentially unsiegable, even with siege engines, especially at the beginning of the game.
I’ve been playing with these changes on my own, and decided to make a public mod for it, which basically reduces the Fort Tier by 3, providing economic benefits at the cost of temporarily reduced Fort Level
