Momo’s Physics: American Dream
After releasing my Physics 10: Kaleos for ETS2, many players requested the same love for ATS. Unfortunately, Mr. Kaleos has never driven an American truck yet so it is not possible for him at this time to deliver an exact experience of an American truck. Thus, for the time being, I am sharing with you this "American Dream" mod to give you a truck driving experience that every ATS player has been dreaming of.
CHANGES BY THIS MOD
In my opinion, vanilla ATS is better than vanilla ETS2 in every aspect including the physics. Therefore, it just needs a few tweaks.
1. Brake
2. Front suspension
3. Cabin weight
4. Seat suspension
RECOMMENDED SETTING
Start with the setting in the pictures above and adjust them to your personal preference.
COMPATIBLE
+ All SCS trucks
+ My Air Ride mods (this mod must be placed lower)
+ All truck mods (this mod must be placed higher)
Known Issue: Truck mods that come with chassis files may behave differently.
You can fix that by opening the chassis folder in the truck mod folder, then find the files named 4×2, 6×2, etc.,
Then open the files, then find the lines:
residual_travel[]: 0.1
residual_travel[]: 0.088
residual_travel[]: 0.088
Change the values to the samples above, then save the files.
NOT COMPETIBLE
– Other physic mods.
– Any other mod that comes with the physics file.
(If placed higher, this mod overwrites their physic file)
OTHER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MODS
I highly recommend these mods. Without them the game will never feel real. Persoanally, I cannot play the game without them.
1. Engine sound mods such as Kriechbaum’s, Zee’s, and Max2712’s (Some are paid mods but trust me you will get 100 USD worth sound for just a few dollars. You will never regret buying them.)
2. Sound Fixes mod by Drive Safely (Immersive environment and AI sound)
