Description:

Welcome to my second unit pack, this time featuring Tylis. I’ ve added 4 new balanced units, each with it’s own custom unit card.

I like this faction because it offers an interesting mix of cultures such as celtic, thracian and hellenic, and I’ ve made each unit with that in mind.

These new units are:
– Tylis Noble Horsemen: Heavy shock cavalry wearing celtic made scale armor. They can be recruited from a lvl 4 horse ranch and are also available as general bodyguards.

– Gallo-Thracian Chosen Warriors: Heavy infantry armed with the deadly thracian romphaia and wearing celtic chainmail armor. These warriors are like the offensive counterpart to tribal warriors. They are very good atacking but don’t let them in a prolonged fight against heavy infantry or they will start to die fast. To recruit them you will need to have a lvl 3 blacksmith.

– Celtic Peltasts: Very good skirmishing unit that also can deal quite a bit of damage if you charge with them into the rear of the enemy, as they have good melee atack and weapon damage. In order to recruit them you will need a lvl 2 bronze forge.

– Naked Axe Warriors: Good shock infantry armed with axes, so they are best used to charge into the rear or flank of enemy heavy armored units. To recruit them you will need a lvl 3 tavern, like the other naked units.

Again thanks to Sebidee for his effort in making his awesome guide which you can find here:

I think the next thing I’ll do is to try and expand the lusitani and arevaci rosters, which I find somewhat underwhelming.
