Spell Mastery Skill for Legendary Lords (IE)
This mod adds the Spell Mastery skill for hand-picked powerful Legendary Lord casters. I have chosen which Lords are the most appropriate to receive the spell damage buff, and by how much. But I am also open to feedback!
Basically, I thought it was silly that Lords like Kroak, Teclis and Morathi are considered the world’s most powerful magic users, yet their spells do just as much damage as a regular, random Archmage or Supreme Sorceress.
All of the Lords, including the AI Lords, will receive their Spell Mastery skill instantly. It should work on an existing game too. (Let me know in the comments please.) I also gave each Lord a custom icon and description for their skill in their skill tree, examples are in the two screenshots.
Bear in mind that these effects are cumulative, so for example, if Teclis gets Greater Arcane Mastery (10% spell damage) AND then uses his Sword of Teclis in battle, his spells will literally do 100% more damage. 200% is the cap, which means Teclis can reach it when he uses his sword. Spell mastery does not affect the duration, range, cost or cooldown of any spells. However, buffs and other effects are increased.
