Adds a Waste Management policy that covers household garbage collection, wastewater treatment, and other services dedicated to managing a country’s waste. Supplemental policies like Recycling or a Green Electronics Initiative can relieve some pressure on these services by separating out reusable material from more general garbage, reducing the cost of the policy.
Also adds a Garbage situation for when a country’s waste overflows into the natural and built environment. Cluttered roadways, health hazards, and angry environmentalists can grind the country to a halt. Clean things up with a strong Waste Management policy, Keep the Country Tidy Campaign, Plastics Tax, and other policies to keep things flowing smoothly.
