Ruler Designer – Safe Genes Unlocked
This mod unlocks extra genes that are not usually available for your use. Unlike other similar mods this does not unlock all genes and continues to hide genes that were not actually intended to actually be used directly as genes.
There is another mod Special Gene Traits that makes, what I believe are, the more popular of those special genes (that aren’t otherwise available) available (and fixes some issues with their use) by making them into Traits.

If you use this you may find: A Spouse Designer for 1.13* – Nudity Toggle useful for getting a better idea of what effect some of the additional genes have on appearance. Please note that it is a submod that requires A Spouse Designer for 1.13. This mod is fully compatible with both.
Alternatively if you do not use Spouse Designer for 1.13 you may find
Ruler Designer – Nudity Toggle to be useful for that purpose.

Updated for 1.13 ( extremely not backwards compatible pre 1.13 ), Spouse Designer will require a comppatch (especially if you use Nudity Toggle)
