After seeing the success of the Pennsylvania Railroad’s "Duplex Drive" locomotives, the Bricksville Railroad decided to build their own super-hauler. Due to the duplex configuration and its drivers not being articulated, it is very stable at high speeds, more so than articulated locomotives.
Due to its unique wheel configuration, the company decided to name it after the chief designer, Henry Alavor.
I know the thumbnail looks terrible, but it looks much better in-game.
