Offshore oil rig (NOW WITH WORKING DISTILATION)
An oil rig i made for use in my career file.
It’s capable of drilling, pumping, and refining oil into diesel and jet fuel.
Most inner working are exposed if there is an issue, valves to control flow, so look around!
HOW TO USE:
– In the control room, send the wellhead down and lock it to the seabed (needs low wind)
(If once you lower the rods, the wellhead isn’t properly aligned, wiggle it a bit by locking and unlocking)
-Lift the pump assembly up
-Load each rod into the tower with the yellow crane
Once you are ready to drill:
-toggle down the pump assembly
-go to the slurry tank and open the valve, You’re drilling!
When the alarm goes off, you’ve struck oil (can be muted in the control room)
Refining can be started behind the big oil tank, two red vavles.
TIP: Start refining in the left tower first, let it fill up to full and THEN star the right one.
