Fast units – Fast armies – SFO
Changes campaign movement values for faster units so armies made up entirely of them can move further in the campaign map. Armies will only move as fast as their slowest unit.
I have split it into three extra sections:
Heavy cavalry and fast light infantry move 20% faster
Light cavalry and heavy flying move 50% faster
Fast flying moves 80% faster.
Additionally, most lords and heroes now get access to their starting mount at level 2. It would be one but the game currently cant handle that without scripts and i’d prefer to stay clear of scripting for mp compatibility.
If you feel like having basic mounts from level 2 is too overpowered, please try out my monstrous rebalance mod which makes projectiles significantly more dangerous for large entities, or my terrain penalty rebalance mod which makes terrain more specialised, meaning large units find it far more difficult to fight in forests.
Based on a mod by Crynsos for wh2, but isn’t as compatible as one of the modifiers has been changed, so all changes have to be done in the land_units table. This means any new units added wont be compatible with this mod and wont have any extra movement.
