Lieutenant Neera Li stumbled upon the land of Aether during a scouting mission. In a landscape in disarray, she’ll bring order once more.

Parrying puts Neera in a Focused state for a period of time. While Focused, Neera has reduced startup & endlag on normals while also gaining access to a single use empowered Strong or Special.

𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨

D-Tilt
A slow, powerful scepter slam on the ground spawning ice. Grants super armor upon startup.

F-Air
Twirl in front at such speeds that it carries Neera forward.

D-Air
Spin to thrust the scepter downwards. A clean hit will spike. A late hit will bounce off.

B-Air
Swing and stab the scepter backwards. This has 3 tippers that can send at various angles.

F-Strong
Swing the scepter in an arc forwards. If focused, this shoots an ice lasso that freezes the first enemy hit.

U-Strong
Thrust the scepter straight up. If focused, this shoots a flurry of wind upwards.

D-Strong
Slam the scepter on the ground. If focused, this spawns 2 snowflakes that creates ice pillars. These pillars reflect projectiles and can be bounced on by any player conserving double jumps.

Neutral-Special – Sniper Drive / Gatling Drive
Swing & shoot icicles forward. Neera can crouch, jump, and aerial drift freely while fireing. Crouching has the icicle knockback send upwards. If Focused, the fireing rate is increased. This is the only Special that doesn’t put Focus on cooldown.

Forward-Special – Glacier’s Path / Glacier’s Trail
Leap & twirl to skate across the stage. Neera leaves ice behind her as she slides. If used in the air, it’s angled downwards while spawning ice shards underneath freezing the ground. This can be canceled into a grounded normal, N-Special, or jump during the slide. If Focused, Neera gains a hit of superarmor and will continue to slide until cancelled via jump, or parry.

Down-Special – Frost Spike / Frost Shatter
Leap & crash into the ground. Upon contact with the ground, all ice on the field will spike knocking enemies upwards. If Focused, the ice will freeze enemies hit.

Up-Special – Blizzard Sweep / Blizzard Slash
Standard uppercut that carries Neera upwards. Inputting Special again will perform a secondary slash. This move can be canceled into D-Special after the uppercut. If Focused, the kill power of the secondary slash is significantly increased.

Majority of the attacks sounds used are from Freedom Planet 1 or 2.

Voicelines are from Freedom Planet 2 acted by…what’s their name again…Ashlyn Madden or somethin idk.

Every move from Neera’s base moveset from Freedom Planet 2 was implemented along with a few liberties & some random arbitrary moves to fill in the gaps.

Many easter eggs were stashed across the animations. Try and spot them all ’cause I forgot them already lol.

If you don’t end up winning, spam N-Air. It usually works I swear.

Why yes D-Tilt was inspired by Ganondorf U-Tilt how could you tell?

There’s a lot of slick movement and tech with this character. Get some Twitter clips for me won’t cha?

Don’t expect any major balances or changes. There may be bug fixes here and there, but that’s just about it.
