Impetuous Troops
Adds four new random chance passive abilities to a wide variety of troops:
Fight to the death – These units may recognise their time is up and fights to the end in a blaze of glory.
– 33% chance, 60 second duration, 180 second cooldown
– chance to activate when wavering in melee
– +5ma, -10md, rampage and unbreakable
– given to intelligent and/or brave troops, and the occasional super bloodthirsty enemy (i.e. many warriors of khorne)
Bloodthirsty – These units lose themselves in the carnage of combat
– 50% chance, 30 second duration, 40 second cooldown
– chance to activate while winning in melee
– +5ma, -10md, rampage
– given to troops that lose themselves in the violence of combat, such as many troops with frenzy
Undisciplined – These units may see a nearby enemy, and in a high stress situation, be more likely to engage them of their own accord.
– 16% chance
– chance to activate if there is an enemy within 80m
– will not activate if a friendly lord or melee hero is within 80m
– +5ma, -10md, rampage
– given to all troops with low training or discipline
Avenger – These units will lose their minds should their lord fall or rout in battle.
– 50% chance, 120 second duration
– chance to activate when their lord dies or flees off the field
– +5ma, -10md, rampage
– given to all regular dwarf units
Note: Rampage does not automatically make a unit move out of position, they need to take some damage during the time rampage is activated for them to move automatically. This makes skirmish cavalry, magic and artillery useful for getting units to be pulled out of position – undisciplined troops dont want to stand still while they’re being shelled if there’s someone close they can go smash!
