Columbus Road Steam Pack
A pack of CC&LE/CBR steam engines that includes a revamped version of the USRA Pacific i made a while back, a 2-6-2, and a 0-4-0T.
Now you are probably (not) wondering why the revamped Pacific has CN specs.
well heres why
Back in 1926, CNR wanted to include more railroads in it’s system. Columbus Road, being a fairly decent sized railroad, was the optimum choice so on March 31, 1926, Canadian National bought CBR but didn’t merge it. It stayed like this for several year, running alongside equipment from GTW, CV, and CN. This continued until December 1935, when the ICC (Interstate Commerce Commision) and the Canadian equivalent decided that CN had a monopoly over the Rust Belt railroads and forced them to release CBR. The last locomotive that had the CN logo was repainted in 1954, 4-8-2 Mountain 6589 (class J3-c).
