cargo helicopter 003 [Contest Entry]
Helicopter for transporting medium-mass objects around.
Able to reliably lift a 1000 mass ballast. See images for internal indicator layout
Block count ~500.
Controls:
– First person view E
– Engine toggle I
– Unpin P
– Pitch down / up T / G
– Yaw left / right R / Y
– Roll left / right F / H
– Trim controls: B + respective normal control.
– Collective U / J
– Winch up / down N / M
– Winch directional controls Arrow Keys
– Grabbers V
– Automatic stabilization: roll K, roll and pitch B + K
Take-off sequence with 1000 mass ballast (included with machine):
1. Lower winch on top of ballast: Hold M, and make sure all 6 grabbers have grabbed the ballast.
– you may need to release the grabbers once to make sure all of them can grab.
2. Turn on full automatic stabilization ( hold B and press K )
3. Turn on engine, unpin, and increase collective ( press I, press P, and hold U )
Landing or cargo drop-off sequence with 1000 mass ballast:
1. Land the ballast first, and control collective so that the helicopter is no-longer supporting any of the extra weight.
2. Release grabber and lift winch ( press V and hold N )
3. While lifting the winch, make sure it doesnt connect to the sides of the helicopter ( for example spam-press V until the winch is completely lifted )
