Geode Mini-Biome Recolour (Purple/Amethyst)
I made this for myself because I wasn’t a fan of the green crystals.
Things purplified:
- geodeblock (the bright green crystal blocks)
- geodestone (the dark rock with green flecks)
- geode mini-biome trees
- geode mini-biome hanging vines
- the geode ”bushes” that play notes when you walk past
- smallgeodecritter, largegeodecritter and floatinggeodecritter (yes those are their names and I made them glow purple so they don’t look weird)
- geodes (the reward bag type ones you can smash)
- a geode particle texture (so that breaking geodes open and smashing geode ”bushes” doesn’t have green shards for some reason)
- the geode furniture (bed, chair, door, ceiling light, plant)
- the geode clothes default colour! Thanks to Adnarim for making the patch files for me!!
- the geode microformer (guess what colour it is)
Things that evaded my wrath:
- the oculob[starbounder.org] and squeem[starbounder.org] (because it seemed unnecessary when they might be someone’s favourite unique monster)
Yeah so that’s that, really. It’s client-side and safe to install/uninstall at any time. Just one thing though – the geodestone (stone with green flecks) seems to get hue-shifted by one of the 400+ mods I play with. It’s barely noticeable though because each 8×8 has only 2 flecks/pixels of purple. So if you’re mod-crazy like me, that might happen for you, but it doesn’t look bad.
