History:
The New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad, better known as the Nickel Plate Road, had a fleet of Heavyweight Coaches that they purchased from various manufacturers, including Pullman. In various phases of their life you could find these coaches on named trains, sleepy branchlines, all the way to Norfolk Southern MoW trains.
