FSE BB150 Locomotives

In seguito ai test condotti sulla D341 5001 (prototipo che non ebbe seguito nel parco FS), le officine Regiane svilupparono la locomotiva grazie alle esperienze acquisite sul motore MAN nel corso dei test.
A seguito di un’ordine da parte delle Ferrovie del Sud Est, le reggiane fornirono 13 locomotive marcate BB 151 – 163, esteticamente identiche alla D341.
Tutte le locomotive hanno prestato servizio per FSE fino alla data del loro accantonamento (avvenuto, comunque, a parte dal 2015), rivestendo due livree sociali. Attualmente, solo due di esse sopravvivono.

After the tests conducted on the D341 5001 (prototype that had no life in the FS park), the Regiane workshops developed the locomotive thanks to the experiences acquired on the MAN engine during the tests.
Following an order from the South East Railways, the Reggio company supplied 13 locomotives marked BB 151 – 163, aesthetically identical to the D341.
All the locomotives served the FSE till the last day of their operative life (retired from 2015), wearing two corporate liveries. Currently, only two of them are still "alive" for historical purposes.
