2005 Remake – 3 – Plasma Mountain
Here’s the sitrep, Marauder. Plasma bugs on the ground have been attacking the fleet, and have already taken out some cruisers. Our Bombers have knocked out most of their heavy artillery positions, but one massive plasma bug remains, firing from deep cover in the mountains. Our pilots can’t reach him. First wave troopers are down there, waiting for reinforcements. But all i’m getting back from them is garbled comms-traffic. If the drop sites aren’t secure, the bugs will chew up the next wave. I’m not feeding any more troops to the grinder. Get things organized down there. The fleet’s future is in your hands, Marauder. If you screw up, my body parts will join you all over the planet.
