Guard Dogs and a Guard is a mod I made to put patrolling dogs in
the Hub

There are two starts, one with just the dogs and one with the dogs and the guard.
I put in auto patrolling dogs as residents in the villages and towns, so you will see them, even if you aren’t playing as them.
In addition I put an auto animal feeder and a dead animal corpse in the build menu so you have access to something to eat. If you are a patrolling guard and a squad of guard dogs you aren’t going to have time to mine for money to buy food. So, you need something.
For sleeping, of course the Hub and most other cities, and some villages have areas where they have public beds to sleep. With that you have all the makings of a career as a Guard and your squad of guard dogs.
Or just the guard dogs if you prefer.
The animal feeder and the dead animal corpse will function in some of the abandoned houses, but not all of them. The ones that are owned are locked I believe and of course you can’t add anything to the city, in the street near a building, so that will mean in some towns or cities you either stay inside the city limits or camp out in the wilderness.
Inside the villages or cities is certainly safer though.
