SOLDIER 1st Class Cloud Strife is ready to rumble in Rivals of Aether. This version of Cloud shares few similarities to smash, with this version having more inspiration taken from the Final Fantasy series. His main difference is his ability to utilise a wide variety of spells from his home series.
SPECIALS:
Neutral B: Spell; uses cloud’s currently selected spell, each spell costs a differing amount of MP.
Forward B: Focused thrust: A multi-hit forward lunge that deals good damage
Up B: Braver: Functions the same as is Up B in smash, only the spike is consistent on the downward swing
Down B: Spell selection: Allows Cloud to choose from one of 6 spells to become his Neutral B. Spells are:
Firaga- fast moving horizontal projectile that burns opponents, costs 8 MP
Aeroga- Slow moving horizontal projectile with high knockback, costs 20 MP
Blizzaga- small projectile that freezes opponents, costs 10 MP
Thundaga- very tall and thin projectile that descends from the sky directly in front of you, costs 15 MP
Bio- A bouncing poison orb that poisons whoever it hits, costs 5 MP
Curaga- A healing spell that heals 10% immediately, costs 30 MP
