Black Reliquary Hero Overhaul
First mod I’ve actually put effort into. Buffs every Hero in black reliquary (including the hexxer and veiled). Must be above hexxer and veiled to work. Buffs vary depending on how useful I found the abilities and class.
This will make the game easier, especially when it comes to heals, but also a lot more frustrating.
As with all Darkest Dungeon mods you want to use in black reliquary, you first have to move the mod from darkest dungeon to black reliquary. After subscribing to the mod you will be able to find it in your steam directory under:
Steamapps/Workshop/Content/262060/2971629241
Take that folder to Steamapps/Common/Black Reliquary/Mods — Once you have put the folder there it should appear like any mod normally would for darkest dungeon once you launch black reliquary.
I will update this mod in the short term, so if you have feedback or encounter a bug please comment about it. I’m already considering reducing healing amounts and damage, but I like the utility and targeting changes.
Changelog:
Abomination can use manacles and vomit from anywhere.
Antiquarian can use kris stab from front 3 ranks and festering vapours back 3 ranks. Festering vapours target both middle targets. Flashpower targets all targets.
Arbalist suppressing fire hits 2,3 and 4. Can mark from anywhere. Blindfire slightly buffed in damage. Bandage Cures.
Bounty Hunter can use caltrops from anywhere and they target everyone.
Crusader hits front two ranks with his expiated move and heals more with his stress heal. Crusader’s files are by far the most confusing.
Not touching dredge
Flag can hit position 3 with punish.
Grave Robber’s lunge gets slightly stronger as she levels up.
Hellion is pretty great in base game, only changed her bleed out. It can now be used in pos 1/2 and target pos 1/2
Highwayman’s Pistol shot and point blank shot both get stronger as he levels up. Duelists’ advance can be used from rank 1.
Houndmaster can use Hound’s Rush, Hound’s Harry and Lick Wounds from any position
Jester can use prelude from rank 3. Slice off targets position 2 and 3 but does less damage.
Judicator can use his expiate from anywhere. Crucify is a lil more accurate.
Leper can use withstand and solemnity from the back ranks.
Man At Arms can use rampart from anywhere.
Musketeer can use bombard during prep round and her patch up now cures.
Occultist now always does at least a small lil baby heal, and his max heal his been increased as well. His low damage util abilities are usable during prep rounds.
Plague doctor’s noxious blast is now essentially plague grenade but for the front two ranks instead. Battlefield medicine heals a little bit less but also targets the entire team. Emboldening vapours targets front two ranks.
Shieldbreaker can now reach rank three with her impale, but it deals a lil less damage. Expose does less damage but effects rank 2, 3 and 4. Serpent’s Sway can be used from any rank and moves her up two.
Vestal’s judgement can reach all ranks and now does a small bit of damage and can therefore crit. Her divine grace has been buffed by 50% as she was a much, much worse healer than occultist and veiled in my experience. Her AOE heal has more variation, it can be worse or better dependant on rng. God’s hand can be used from rank 3.
Hexer’s Excruciating pain and putrefied flesh abilities target all ranks and can be used from only ranks 4/3 and 2/1 respectively. Malform can be used 3 times per battle (up from one).
Veiled’s Hex hits all ranks. Their heal is stronger. Lifesteal hits all ranks for less damage (-75% from -50%). Death Wish is usable one additional time per battle and from any rank. Veiled can continue to riposte after healing off their riposte.
