Description:

This is a overhaul mod aimed at Subcommanders Multiplayer. It does not add these units to campaign and is very much a work in progress. All current changes are listed in the pinned discussion, and I try to keep this as up to date as possible, though bare with me I am just one person.
ATTENTION! This mod adds is new abilities for generals. To use those you need the Caesar in Gaul DLC, as custom generals functionality is tied to the 4 generals added with that DLC. If you don’t own it you can still use the mod and play with others that do but you won’t have access to the new generals.
For those look to join Subcommanders games The Gathering Stone discord plays games regularly and is where I test the mod. All are welcome https://discord.gg/McQaMGBYSx

New Factions
===========
The Caledones:
A confederation of the northern tribes of Alba march south under Chief Calgacus. A light but aggressive faction with good armor piercing, lots of high damage bows and even pikes. The Caledones’ roster is split between highland and lowland units, with the former ignoring terrain and resisting cold and the latter able to stalk and guerrilla deploy.

The Etruscan League:
The Rasenna of Etruria make their stand united by King Tarchon. This faction has a backbone of basic Italian troops and specialized Italic tribes. The Etruscans specialize in defense, while others like the Umbrians are used to combat in cold mountainous terrain. While mostly defensive in nature the Etruscan League is well rounded and can play multiple roles well.

Garamantia:
The North African faction known for farming in the Sahara. While more hospitable in the past the still quite arid landscape made it difficult for large armies to threaten Garamantia’s heartlands so they had little need for a powerful army. Instead Garamantia focus on raiders and foreign mercenaries/slave soldiers to fill out their numbers and protect there limited warrior elites. Mostly fast and light roster with good access to camel units and many unique support units.

Persia:
The Persia roster represents the non-Parthian pre-Sassanian peoples of what is today southern Iran. Many of their melee units carry a bow with limited ammo including the famous Immortals. While many of their units do not have the best combat stats they are well armored and versatile.

The Servile Rebellion:
The slaves have revolted and have joined Rome 2’s roster under the leadership of Spartacus. The factions main troops are weak, but large in number and with better than average morale. The units are supported by elites that are either bastions of leadership or preform well in multiple roles. This comes at the cost of them being capped and lower in numbers.

Message to Modders: I learned everything I know from Sebidee and Magnar tutorials or from taking apart and looking through other peoples mods. Feel free to use this for your own stuff just give credit where credit is due.
