Linden tree texture for winter was revised again. They looked too artificial, now they are fine

Don’t forget to Like & Favorite. Then it is faster findable for others.

It is the same installation method as with all other texture mods.
Add the folders to the game directory [media_soviet] & overwrite the files.
The game directory can be opened via Steam.
Right click on the game in the left bar, then on Manage & Browse Local Files.

Make a backup copy of each folder will be modified beforehand.
I forgot myself & therefore could not insert one.

The path to the mod folder is:

Steam / steammapps / workshop / content / 784150 / 3015040245

This is pretty much a complete texture overhaul of everything surrounding except water & sky.

The ground textures are completely new created & also the textures for mountains/coasts & all plants for central european maps.
A desert bush that is normally blocked on the European maps was also changed In light green scrub.

The old beech is now an oak & the old arcacia is now a linden tree.

The old standard green bush is now a hazel bush based on the real thing.
Hazel & Linden look very similar. You can also interpret the linden trees as hazel trees.

The old/new bush under the new plant tabs with conifers are now brambles(the big bush icon) & the small bush icon is now a monk’s pepper bush &or a dog rose bush. (the bushes change randomly as you place them[monk’sP/dog rose]).

The old Vanilla conifers have also received completely new textures.
Pines & Spruces are now more different & have specific branches.

The thuja the small vanilla fir tree is now a real fir tree.

Plant sizes offer a more realistic variety that gives a more natural look.

Autumn & winter textures have also been adjusted. Matching the real plant. So blackberry bushes bear fruit in summer/autumn (only very close to see) & in winter are just light snow covered brush with a few frozen lightly snowed leaves. & more.

Trees don’t bear fruit because you wouldn’t really see them anyway like a small acorn.

+ other small changes:
like new lantern colors, again reworked street textures, deco textures & more.

NOTE
old hedges from the small bushes might now stick out over the road due to the changed sizes.

The oak texture is unfortunately a bit coarse as the leaves are very small in the file & are displayed much larger in the game.
1 leaf is partly only 3-5 pixels wide in the image processing. Which does not allow too many details. But you can see the rough leaf structure of an oak leaf if you are close to it.

By the way, it can rarely happen that the game crashes after installing the mod at the first start.
This is if it happens at all, once, because the game engine has taken over the new data afterwards.

To prevent this, you can start the game after mod installation, then in the options window on Save & Exit, so that it captures the new data.

Then start normally. Most will not have this problem anyway but I say it extra before it is considered a bug.

Tip
Use for green bush brushes best the blackberry bush & the hazel bush.
