Description:

This water tower is based loosely off multiple water towers found in Poland. Such water towers were once common in virtually every city in Europe, though few remain. Today, the remaining water towers are mostly abandoned, but some have been converted into homes, cafes, art galleries, museums, and hotels.

Many of the remaining towers in Poland have been added to historical registries, but unfortunately the owners occasionally get permission to demolish them, and remove them from the registries. PKP, the state railway, owns many of these water towers, and has been selling them and demolishing others.

These are nice local attractions, but do not attract too many tourists, and people will only go once on a trip, and citizens only come for culture a few times in a lifetime. For that reason, I set the appeal to 1.8. Being in a place with nice sights will increase it to about 2.1. It requires 5 works, and supports about 30 guests.

I decided to list this as a gallery instead of a museum because I imagined this tower to be a place with many pictures and models related to these structures. Since there are no other galleries on the workshop, it will give some more variety.

Being an old building, it needs to be built in three steps.

My texturing skills aren’t he best, so I couldn’t get the windows to look right on the sides of the tower structure. I made them brick instead, which is actually quite commonly done. Hopefully someone would like to help with texturing!
