Macchi-Castoldi M.C.72
This is a replica of the legendary M.C.72 which set up a world speed record of 709,202 km/h in 1934. It was originally built to compete in the Scheider Trophy, a race inwhich only seaplanes and flying boats were allowed to comepete (hence it has floats).
It took me ages to complete this project and finally upload it as it had some major problems regarding the stability. I also had planned to make a custom red skin for it which, firstly, was too much work and secondly, it looked too similar to Al-Red. The Sand colored parts of the aircraft represent the cooling system of the M.C.72.
The aircraft only starts to fly straight at high speeds as it was designed to do. Also, it looses quite alot of energy in curves so watch out for that.
