UsefulSuppressors
This mod decreases the amount of damage suppressors take by 90% and decreases the audible range of ammunition shot through a suppressor based on the size (.22LR being the quietest). This makes suppressors quite useful again -especially in high zombie count servers, and especially at night. Additionally, this mod decreases the size of suppressors in your inventory. Finally, this mod makes the improvised suppressor slightly more durable and allows it to be repaired using a half a roll of duct tape.
I like the new noise system in DayZ but I also like the way some things were in the past. Like storage containers, for instance. I’ve made a mod that bring back the old storage containers that held 1 more row of space than they took up in your inventory. I’ve also added logic to it to prevent nesting, which is the reason they were changed in the first place. It’s called UsefulContainers, check it out.

In order for suppressors to be effective in DayZ you must do these things
-Don’t rapid fire, even when suppressed. This will add several sound events to sound area
-If you do have to fire multiple times, do it while moving. This will make your sound area shift into "fresh" terrain
-Keep your suppressors in good condition. A ruined suppressor might as well be no suppressor

To install server side:
-Download the mod to the root directory of your server
-Copy the key file from the keys directory to your server’s keys directory
-Add this mod to your launch parameters
To install client side using DayZ launcher:
-Subscribe to the mod
-Open DayZ launcher and check mark the mod in the mods list
-Add the mod’s folder name to the end of your mod string
