Pater Europae: Age of Charlemagne reskin overhaul

Welcome to my most ambitious project to date: A complete reskin overhaul of the Age of Charlemagne campaign. This mod covers all the factions in the DLC, both playable and unplayable. All land units, naval units, officers, standard bearers, generals, and faction leaders have been reskinned to a more historical and realistic version with more color variety and better graphics. I have created a lot of new stuff to really bring this era to life, new clothes, armour, weapons, standards, and much more.

I make no claim of being 100% historically accurate. The 8th century is a hotly contested era in terms of weaponry and armour, I have made some historical speculations and added them to the game (see for example Franks using carolingian helmets and musculatas).

This mod is compatible with virtually all mods, so long as they don’t alter AoC units. This means that you can use it with any other campaign mod for AoC. This is a pure reskin mod and only changes the game in terms of graphics.

This mod is compatible with Drahz94s Byzantine expedition and Theme of Sicilys mod. His units have gotten a reskin as well as the regular Eastern Roman roster. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1202449125
