What does this mod?

I was trying to use Disable AI Colonization mod for my Role-playing scenario. I ended up not being able to colonize fast, and I wanted my subjects can colonize, so, I decided to make a mod for this, and share it in case anyone needs it. Enjoy the mod.

Does two things: you can increase your colonist’s number by 10 in the decisions tab, and also, every AI nation (that is not a player subject) gets -5 colonist modifier. So, the whole world is yours to colonize.

Warning: -5 colonist modifier is applied by two ways:

  • on startup: when you create the save game, the mod assigns this modifier to every AI nation that is not a player subject.
  • on yearly: every year the mod checks if the modifier is applied wrong (i.e. a player nation or a player subject AI nation have the modifier) and removes it (so it does self-balance) or if there is change in the countries (i.e. once an AI controlled nation gets controlled by a player or reverse)

So, yearly check may reduce performance a bit, however, the mod correctly applies/removes modifiers on the stated conditions.

Every one of these checks if this country is a subject of yours, if it is; it will not apply the modifier. I must say that I did not fully test it, will test it surely tho.

Is it compatible with Iron Man?

Of course, it is not compatible with Iron Man.

Is it compatible with other mods?

It is compatible 100% with every other mod.
