Mixed Lores – Teclis & Alarielle Overhaul [pre-Doomsayer Version]
USE THIS MOD FOR NEW CAMPAIGNS:

This mod adds the Mixed Lores mechanic for Teclis and Alarielle. Since skill changes aren’t save compatible I’m going to add additional lords as submods. With the next major patch/dlc they will be incorporated in the main mod.
Mixed Lores features a custom ui that allows you to put together your prefered mixed lore of magic. Supported lord types for now are Mazdamundi, the campaign version of the Slann Mage Priest, Morathi, Teclis and Alarielle.
Based on the following Tabletop rules.
Both the Teclis & Alarielle submod as well as the main Mixed Lores mod are necessary.
The Mixed Lores mod uses ui elements utilizing Vanishoxyact’s UI Modding Framework.
Therefore, subscribing to the UI Modding Framework is required for this mod to work properly!
- Custom UI for Alarielle to freely choose 6 spells out of two Lores of Battle (Life / Light) as well as the Lore of High Magic for a total of 18 spells and 3 lore passives.
- Custom UI for Teclis to choose a spell list consisting of spells in the Lore of High Magic and one of each of the eight Lores of Battle Magic (Beasts / Death / Fire / Heavens / Life / Light / Metal / Shadows) for a total of 54 spells and 9 lore passives.
- Restructured and rebalanced skill tree for Alarielle and Teclis.
- UI can’t be unlocked while the spell browser is open.

I may work on a SFO submod once the "Mixed Lores" mod is feature complete, if noone else wants to do it.

Coop: Worked in my tests. If you experience crashes or desyncs please let me know.
Custom battles: Although you can pick more than 6 spells for Teclis or Alarielle you always end up with only 6 in battle. Teclis TT rule, limiting him to only one spell per lore is replaced by the Mazdamundi/Slann rule in custom battles.
For the AI the feature works pseudo-random. If the AI allocates skillpoints in more than 6 different spell enabling skills then they get a random selection out of their available spellpool whenever they fight a player in a manuell battle. For ai vs ai, all spells with allocated skillpoint, are enabled to ensure they don’t get a disadvantageous autoresolve result.
