Trajann’s Vile Caretaker
Papa Nurgle has come to play!
This mod adds a new legendary lord to both Ku’gath and Festus. The Caretaker is an absolute unit, he takes everything about Nurgle and cranks it up to 11. At base, his stats might not strike you as "Trajann quality", but don’t be fooled. Once you unlock his skills and abilities, he becomes the most durable unit in the game. He is focused purely around auras, both buffing friendlies, and hurting enemies. He doesn’t hit very hard in melee, but instead withers the enemy down all while taking no damage at all. His healing potential is absurd, as well as his ability to reduce enemy stats. Once you have all his toys unlocked, you can make even nurglings near immortal. He also comes with a mixed lore of death and Nurgle spells, as well as a skill dump and capstone skills. He buffs Daemons primarily, allowing you to create an unkillable horde of rotten flesh. Now he sounds OP, and he certainly is very strong, however he has one BIG downside. He is incredibly vulnerable to missile fire. He’s big and slow, so it’s very easy for him to get focused down before he even gets to use his kit.
He also comes with a unique Regiment of Renown, a single chaos spawn. It has a very potent regeneration ability, a 20% ward save, and the guardian ability. Sticking him next to the Caretaker and having him adsorb some incoming fire is a great idea. Once in melee, he won’t be a killing machine, but he’ll certainly take a lot of damage before he goes down. He’s unlocked at level 25 and benefits from chaos spawn tech.
That’s the mod! It’s nice to finally release a character for a different chaos god, and I’m very happy with how he turned out. This is only my 3rd time making a unit for a chaos god other than Khorne, and it was a nice challenge trying to make this character work. I’m still new to the other 3 gods, so Nurgle fans please let me know if this satisfies your cravings! Naturally, I’ll be making lords for both Slaanesh and Tzeentch, so stay tuned for those!
