Android Ascension – Vanguard Expansion
Android Ascension – Vanguard Expansion is an extension to the main Android Ascension mod, adding an independent faction called the Vanguard which is themed around an industrial mining empire.
The Vanguard is a unique faction, accepting any androids into their ranks. They are an industrial empire, with a mercenary division to compliment their mining/industrial division. The mercenaries were introduced due to the ongoing pressure from the Android and Replika wars, which were spilling over to the planets that the Vanguard operated on. They also encountered some resistance from a primitive alien species on one of their mining planets, prompting change to their security.
This faction requires these mods.
The Vanguard Special Operations Battalion – dedicated to pretty much anything that Vanguard needs doing on the low. From security detail to infiltration, they are well suited to the task with many vehicles and special exo-suits.
This faction requires Webknights Zombies.
Xerthans are nothing special, they are resurrected Yashers who died in battle. They aren’t as capable as a Yasher, but they do retain some melee combat skills. Rumours are that they have undead sword wielders.

Organic Grenade
The Vanguard figured out the technology to make an explosive that won’t harm Androids, perfect for quelling local interference. It has a loud buzzing sound before exploding, proceeding to decimate anything organic within 10m after about 5 seconds.
EMP Grenade
The Vanguard figured out the technology to make an explosive that won’t harm Androids. In true "Sentient Life" fashion, they also made one that does exclusively target them. Why not?
Reinforcement Markers <– These abilities require these mods aswell.
Allows you to call in things like MAC strikes, resupplies or vehicle drops. May be expanded in the future, though I can’t say for certain. They are found in the grenade category.
