Miracle Juice [Immortality]
Craftable item – Costs 1 bandage in a fabricator.
Applies "Juiced Up" perk to any character it’s used on.
Will keep the character at 1 HP when unconscious, preventing death.
- Сan’t die to an injury that doesn’t instantly kill (Still go unconscious)
- Сan’t turn into a husk (Accumulates internal damage at 100% infection until cured)
- Injuries continue to add up when kept alive by the perk and damaged.
- Doesn’t protect from water pressure (Intended)
- Doesn’t override anything from the base game.
- Works with Neurotrauma
As a player who mostly plays singleplayer, it’s very annoying when an important bot dies. Prompting a mission restart. This mod remedies that. Also applicable to multiplayer if you use bots. Or maybe you play with a full crew, but simply don’t like to lose some skills on death 🙂
On balancing note, since you still continue to accumulate damage when down – it will take a small fortune or tons of supplies to bring back the incapacitated character if you attempt to abuse the buff (See screenshots – my captain was eaten alive in the cave and 2 mudraptors munched on him until I got to the outpost :D) So I feel like it’s a justified trade off.
