Revised Gunfighting
WHY: goal is to create a gunfighting experience that reflects real life. As the result, weapons are more deadly, you don’t really wanna get hit. True for you and your enemy, you will really start to respect those AKs.
WHAT: reworked weapon ballistics and crit chance based on real world data: muzzle energy, one-shot-stop chance, etc.
How
- Damage is determined by bullet energy: bullet mass x muzzle velocity
- Bullet energy is determined by your Ammo and barrel length
- Increased crit chance for all weapons. A pistol can take 5 shots to bring an enemy down or just 1. Just like in real life.
- Reworked weapon Single shot AP and burst shot AP. Now it depends on weapon weight and recoil. Heavier weapons harder to aim, recoil is harder to control.
- Crit chance is high up close and declines with range, becuase it becomes harder to control shot placement.
- New calibers added: 5.45, 7.92 for the Gewehr98
Mod can be configured in options.
Will not work with any overhauls.
