Trackpack: Rail
This mod includes 12 different railspeeds ranging from 40km/h to 400km/h.
I made the 350km/h track more expensive than the vanilla 350km/h track.
On the other hand the 160km/h track is a little bit cheaper.
So essentially I’m making it slightly harder to build high speed rail.
Tunnels and Viaducts also become gradually more expensive as the speed increases.
These are the speeds included:
40km/h @ 25 000$ / km
60km/h @ 45 000$ / km
90km/h @ 80 000$ / km
120km/h @ 120 000$ / km
140km/h @ 155 000$ / km
160km/h @ 190 000$ / km
200km/h @ 270 000$ / km
220km/h @ 330 000$ / km
250km/h @ 425 000$ / km
300km/h @ 575 000$ / km
350km/h @ 750 000$ / km (tunnel is limited to 320km/h)
400km/h @ 1 000 000$ / km (viaduct is limited to 380km/h; tunnel is limited to 320km/h)
The slower tracks are less sturdy meaning their speed vs radius is slightly worse.
Tracks with speed 220km/h and up don’t allow diamond crossings, if you want to add switches on double track you will either have to select a lower speed, or use flyovers.
