This map has been built with the help of heightmaps from https://heightmap.skydark.pl/. The heightmaps resemble Hanko Peninsula and the nearby regions with all the close islands.
Hanko Peninsula is located in Southern-Finland and it is the southernmost continental point of Finland and the city of Hanko which lies in the peninsula region is the southernmost city in Finland.
With this project, I tried to build the nature and coastal areas very carefully to resemble how it actually is there, but with the limitations that this game has so far, it’s not very easy.
The resources are quite densely together with uranium being scattered to far away islands. The resource fields aren’t that wide or large.
