Halloween Hearts (WIP)
Won’t work for Afterbirth plus
This little WIP mod recolours the sprites for the hearts to give them a halloween touch.
Current sprites changed
- HEART PICK UPS: Red (half, full and double), Soul (half and full), Black (half and full), Eternal, Golden, Skeleton, Rotten, and Blended.
- HUD HEARTS: Red (half and full), soul (half and full), Black (half and full), Eternal, Golden, Skeleton (inside only), Rotten, and one extra.
- GIANT BOOK SPRITES: Red, Eternal, Soul, Empty, and Black.
- ALL OTHER HUD APPEARANCES FOR THE HEARTS: Minimap, Pickup hud, Crafting ui, and everything jar.
Yes the list is short but there are a couple of ideas to be added yet. Maybe next year.
Wishlist
- Finish current missing sprites: Big book sprites, map sprites, crafting sprites, everything jar sprites.
- Improve skeleton hearts: Tweak the skeleton heart sprites so that it fits in better with the rest of the changed sprites.
- Rotten zombie sprites: Make the rotten hearts look zombie-like by adding some more green.
- Candy pills?:Change pills into candies for the season?
- Improve sprites: Make the giantbook red heart sprite look decent (at least).
- Chocolate coins?: Make coins into a chocolate variation and change Keeper’s coin heart sprites to fit.
Note Since Halloween has hit and soon from now gone by, I’ll stop working on this until the seson next year most likely. I’ll probably end up working on this mod year after year with each time adding somethinng different. If that happens to be the case, next year will be coins (and keys/bombs?) year, as the coins are the only missing heart to be changed.
