Addon for Extended Tech Tree Mod. Spawns additional mineable megaroids containing silver and at least one other resource. Most will contain silver, copper and iron, but some will contain silver and at least one other rare resource in trace amounts (carbon, tritanium, uranium or gold). Very few will contain copper, silver and gold. The extra asteroids will spawn in asteroid fields and in the asteroid belt. Silver is a new resource from the Extended Tech Tree Mod, which is why these asteroids need Extended Tech Tree Mod enabled for this mod. Mineable Megaroids is not required for this mod to function.
It’s safe to enable and disable this add-on mod during your current playthrough, but it needs Extended Tech Tree Mod enabled to function properly as this is not a standalone mod.

With this mod enabled, Extended Tech Tree Mod will spawn additional mineable megaroids containing silver.
There is a 50% chance one or several will spawn in any default asteroid field and a larger number will be guaranteed to spawn inside the asteroid belt.

What is silver?
Silver is a new resource added to the game by the Extended Tech Tree Mod. It can be mined just like other precious metals and comes in a variety of asteroids. It can also be bought from trade stations.
Silver is a metal similar to copper and had great conductive characteristics, edging out copper. Silver is used to create silver coils with which in turn are used for advanced ship parts construction. When using the mod Upgraded Enemy Fleets, silver coils can also be salvaged from enemy ship wrecks.
Silver is less common and more expensive than copper, but cheaper and more common than gold.
