The Orient Express, a Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL) route is a service or label of service and not a train. The varied routes took passengers through France Germany Switzerland Italy and Eastern Europe from 1883 to December 2009. You can use this car set for many routes as the livery was standard throughout CWIL
The CIWL ‘Orient Express’ services are not to be confused with the tourist train called ‘Venice Simplon Orient Express’ that runs from Calais to Venice today.
