Repeater Handgunners
When I played Vermintide 2 I saw the stunning siege scenery on Fort Brachsenbrücke and the REPEATER HANDGUNNERS who defended the fort!
It bothered me quite a while that they weren’t in the Total War game so I finally took the initiative and created my first mod.
This mod adds "Repeater Handgunners". They are integrated in the campaign and require the Engineer’s Workshop and the Foundry to be recruited. For a Tier V unit they are pretty meh at the beginning but with the help of tech, skills and XP they evolve into an absolute SLEDGEHAMMER of a missile unit!
It was also disappointing to see that it requires skill beyond my level to alter animations.
This means no cool reload animation from Outriders 🙁 only higher rate of fire
(With the new Reload Mod, maybe I find the time to learn animating ^^)
Although I had this idea on my own, I discovered that I am not the first one.
I especially want to refer to the "Nuln Ironsides" mod which helped a lot to fix major bugs in my own mod.
!Is affected by the new, popular "Reload" Mod, only visually though. Performance is the same and with my Gunners beefed up in the late game campaign actually goes really well together 🙂
