British Rail Class 37
Unlocks in 1961
A diesel locomotive from Great Britain, the Class 37 was designed to haul both passenger and goods trains.
They became one of the mainstays of the British Rail fleet, regularly seen on lines across Britain. Known among enthusiasts as "tractors" or "Growlers" due to their distinctive sound.
As of 2015, members of the class are still in mainline service, despite being over 50 years old, with many more in preservation.
