Bog [v1.5]
Adds "Bog" as a playable character!
(Bog is an original character by acb and has been featured in many RHG battles and Duels, as well as my Fatal Art games)
Bog was recently updated, please check the patch notes!
This mod started off as an unfinished Bog mod by Dusk with completely different sprites, but the same core mechanic. I love Bog so much that and loved the work that was already done that I had to see this to completion,
so Dusk and I collaborated on this together, Dusk doing most of the coding and work on Bog’s Blud Bug mechanics & sprites, I mostly worked on the main animations and balacing, both of us doing the visual/audio work 🙂

Bog specializes in utilizing his Blud Bugs, and is an all-around fighter, but is more favored on the ground.
He can use his fast movement to evade and get in quickly, command grab the opponent for mega damage, counter and explode on them, or just laugh in their face >:)
Bog is fast and deals big damage, but loses health at the cost of using most attacks and requires solid yomi in order to get in, punish, deal monstrous damage, and feel like one while doing it.
Bog also contains bit-crushed voice acting, just like Omen, by Many Different Sources Including Myself
If you are familiar with my other mods, you may notice that Bog uses some of my Ninja skin animations, but better! all were animated in Pivot

Some Attacks, Specials, and Supers will spawn Blud Bugs that eat at Bog’s health as they release, losing between 300 – 350 health, Supers spawn Blud Bugs too, but take significantly less health for more Blud Bugs. Their trajectory is random and Bog cannot die to his own attacks.
Once a Blud Bug drops on the ground, Bog gains access to three new abilities using all of them at once.
- Spike: Blud Bug forms into a Spike, an OTG attack that launches the opponent
- Shoot: All Blud Bugs swarm at the opponent, dealing big damage and decent hitstun
- Heal: All Blud Bugs will home towards Bog and heal him for 200 Health
Use these tools to play passively and manage your health, or play oppressively and overwhelm your enemy at the perfect moment.

TIPS:
- Blud Bugs can be melee attacked and destroyed by projectiles
- "Super Dash" has projectile invulnerability
- "LVL1: EX Clutch" has projectile invulnerability on Initiative
- Blud Bugs cannot be parried, as well as "Blud: Slap"
- "Scream" is a counter, as well as a combo extender and anti-air, it begins as soon as Bog screams (Frame 7), the 5 Blud Bugs that spawn during a successful counter do not take health
- "Bogatile" & "Lunge" have upper body invulnerability
- "Relentless" & "Clutch" have armor
- "Laugh" to gain a small amount of Super Meter

In this update, Dusk adds two new supers, new animations, new visual effects, fixes many bugs, and adjusted his internals.
I’ve taken things said in the Bog discord channel, and many comments on the workshop page into account and have made many changes myself, along with providing my own small new Special move.

- "Assault" & "Lunge" no longer collide with projectiles or Bog’s Blud Bugs
- "Airdash" IASA from Frame 6 to Frame 10
- "Wait" IASA no longer changes between Frame 10 & Frame 11, now stays at 10
- "Fast Fall" IASA increased from Frame 7 to Frame 10
- "Walk Forward" can now be held correctly
- Air Options normalized. One Air Option in neutral, up to two gained during combos.
- "Super Fall" Removed
